Collective Engineering was established in 2022 as the combination of 6 industry leaders in building services engineering.

The team was an integral part of taking their previous business from 4 people to over 180 people and developing a culture and service approach that was award-winning and a benchmark in the industry. With the benefit of that experience, Collective Engineering aims to raise the bar in terms of the Client experience, by creating a unique environment for our staff that enables them to excel and importantly, make it enjoyable and for you, our Client and the broader project team.

Our

COLLECTIVE ENGINEERING WILL SET A NEW STANDARD IN THE LEVEL OF CLIENT SERVICE AND QUALITY OF DELIVERY.

So how do we do that?

We are Australian owned
Enables us to make decisions quickly and with you, the Client, in mind. We understand the local market and we are not influenced from interstate or overseas.

Owners of the business on your project for life
The success of your project is critical for our business success, so every project has owners of Collective Engineering at the coal face working closely with you. This ensures high quality advice, exceptional client service and a care and concern for the outcome you can only get when the team has a vested interest in the project’s success.

Strength in all areas
We have best in industry experience and capability across all disciplines offered, we have limited our consulting offering to only the areas where we believe we can be the best in the market.

Disciplined
We are disciplined in our management of workload and the projects we take on. Delivering outstanding service and quality deliverables whilst ensuring our team has balance is vitally important.

We do this through two key components:

one

Every project has owners of the firm involved. If this cant be accommodated due to current workload, we don’t take the project on.

two

Our internal workload management tool uses real time project effort feedback to ensure we actively manage individual workload and capacity

Our team has manageable workloads, and an ability to have the time and energy to invest in areas that are important to them outside of work, whether that be family, sporting, cultural or otherwise. When they are at work, our team is committed, efficient, driven and outcomes focussed. What this means for you is an uncompromised service, where we are able to focus. the time and energy that you expect into your project and deliver an outcome we collectively are proud of.

BIM & Digital
We work exclusively in Revit including being fully cloud based for speed and collaboration. Our internal BIM standards align with ISO 19650 to ensure we are at the forefront of the industry. Our workflows are configured to leverage the whole of design life cycle collaboration and coordination including:

Our in house BIM development capability drives internal efficiency and enhances quality through Revit Add-ins, PowerApps and Power Automate. Further we leverage Autodesk Forge to optimise workflows as the industry moves further towards the cloud.

Our BIM delivery and digital engineering approach is future focussed and industry leading:

Systems, Innovation and Efficiency
In addition to our approach to BIM, we have a commitment to continuous improvement and efficiency throughout our business. We deliberately set aside capital for investment in new ideas, whether they be related to internal efficiency improvement, automation of repetitive tasks, or innovative ways to solve old problems. Our team are encouraged to bring ideas to the table and are not constrained by large and slow moving bureaucracy. In addition, that internal culture spills over into the way we approach projects – with an innovative mindset right out of the blocks!

Make it enjoyable for all
To complement the quality of our technical capability and experience, we aim to make the process fun along the way. Our culture demands excellence, but we also don’t take ourselves too seriously and work hard to make things enjoyable for all.
